[Construction work is a far cry from sewing, of course, but to Shoka's credit, it's with a rare enthusiasm and sense of focus that she takes to building their Minior catapult. It's mostly out of obligation to Maya, really—a desire to repay her somehow for helping her with Noelle's chocolates back in February, even if only through quest cooperation—but she does admit at one point in the building process that she does kind of genuinely want to see the Minior get launched. Who wouldn't?
She barely has any idea what she's doing, but she follows Electrode's instructions closely and works well in tandem with Maya. Eventually, after a few final checks, their catapult is deemed complete.]
Okay, we should be good to go... Ready to fly? [This question is aimed at the Minior, who responds with a murmur she doesn't understand. It hasn't once tried to escape the catapult, however, so she chooses to interpret its trembling as originating from excitement rather than terror.] Uh-huh. Sure you are.
[With that, she turns to Maya.]
Well? How'd you like to do the honors?
[She gestures to the cord holding all the weight down. One solid strike should be all it needs.]
[She appreciates all the help, either way! She really hasn't built much like this before, and it's definitely one of those things where it's harder than it looks. But it'll be good to get the Miniors back home, where they belong! Even if it does feel strange- but it's right to try to get them home. (And she agrees it would be fun to see them launched- hopefully it feels just as nice!]
It's all set and prepared! Nothing to worry about. Just focus on keeping your altitude!
Oh- are you sure you didn't want to? [Not that she minds, but Shoka did seem pretty excited…!]

[While Shoka certainly isn't opposed to doing it herself (she does love getting to use her claws to shred things), it isn't something she's dead set on doing. She gets to watch the Minior fly either way, after all. If she hangs back, it will also be easier for her to film the show on her phone, too.
But she can't just say that, of course. Instead, she tries to goad Maya on.]
[Well- it's probably about how much of it can be reused, really! In any case, from that answer, she takes it that Shoka's satisfied with watching, so it's fine!
She looks at the cord again, considering it carefully, and positions herself so that, hopefully, most of it should be useful again afterwards.]
[There isn't, she's fairly certain. Moments later, Maya goes for it. As she counts down, Shoka pulls her phone out from under her disguise rag and positions it in her hand, poised to record. The Minior rattles audibly in the bucket, shaking even more now.
There is a distant, chirring sound that resembles laughter. The Minior does a brief twirl—a thank you, maybe—before it takes off, flying up, up, and away.]

What, scared you'll break the cord wrong?

Counting down from three, then! Three- two- one!
[She strikes!]

The cord snaps; with a great creak of machinery, the arm of the catapult arcs through the air and sends the Minior flying. The Meteor Pokémon lets out a buzzing squeal as it's flung upward—a long, sustained wheeeeee—that grows rapidly quieter as its distance from them grows. Its shape starts out as a brownish blur across the sky, but for a single, dangerous moment, it seems to suddenly lose momentum and start to drop like a stone. Just when Shoka is beginning to worry that she'll have a Pokésnuff film taking up storage space on her phone, however, the Minior rights itself and regains altitude, hovering without assistance.

Oh, wow. See ya, space cowboy.
